Meet our 2022-23 3MT finalists: Abigail Schulte

Abigail Schulte is a first-year graduate student in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. She is one of eight finalists for Iowa State's 2022 Three Minute Thesis competition. You can watch Abigail's presentation, "Optimizing solid-state anaerobic digestion of prairie grass and dairy manure," on Thursday, Nov. 10.

 

Meet our 2022-23 3MT finalists: Abesh Bera

Abesh Bera is a sixth-year graduate student at Iowa State in Microbiology, and he was last year's runner-up in the Three Minute Thesis competition. He will also participate in Thursday's final competition with his presentation, "Biased interaction of different Tubulin Isotypes with Tumor Overexpressed Genes (TOG) determines cell division rate."

Holly Loper is a fifth-year Ph.D. student majoring in Microbiology, and this is her second consecutive year participating in Iowa State's Three Minute Thesis final competition. Parvin Mohammadiarvejeh is a third-year Ph.D. student at Iowa State in Industrial Engineering. She will showcase her research during next week's final Three Minute Thesis competition with her presentation, "Developing Machine Learning and Optimization Models to Recognize Super-Agers."
