Fall 2020 message to graduate assistants

Dear Fall 2020 Graduate Teaching, Research, and Administrative Assistants,
Dear Fall 2020 Graduate Teaching, Research, and Administrative Assistants,
As you know, the Spring 2020 semester was disrupted by the COVID-19 global pandemic, and Iowa State University adopted a temporary Pass/Not Pass (P/NP) grading policy for graduate (500- and 600-level) courses. The Graduate College has created videos to help graduate students and advisers better understand the Pass/Not Pass grading policy.
Spring 2020 Pass/Not Pass Grading Policy and Process for Graduate Advisers:
The Graduate College is working to provide additional assistance to students
Dear Iowa State University graduate students,
The Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine has adopted a temporary Pass/Not Pass grading option for professional courses impacted by the transition to virtual instruction, effective immediately. This policy closely mirrors the policy adopted for undergraduate courses, March 20, 2020.
In light of moving all classes at Iowa State University online for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester, the Graduate College is providing updated information regarding preliminary and final oral examinations. Our service to the campus will adhere to the principle of supporting academic continuity of students toward their degrees.
